100% Tempranillo. Since 2007, we have been very lucky to acquire our Tempranillo fruit from Steve and Sharon Shinn’s vineyard along Davis Road just west of Lodi. Picked each year at the peak of perfection it produces a delightful wine: luscious, fragrant, full bodied with dark fruit flavors hinting of blueberries to plums. Nuances of leather and coffee will linger on your palette. In the winery, we age this wine for 16 months in neutral barrels providing a nice complexity to the wine and a subtle oak spice on the finish.
