Our 2015 Chenin Blanc is our second vintage of our Estate Grown Chenin Blanc grapes. The vines were planted in 2012 on the bluff above the Mokelumne River, where the grapes benefit from the cool evening breezes.
A perfect balance of acidity and fruit, our fragrant Chenin Blanc hints of green tart apples and pears in the aroma. With a clean silky mouth feel with hints of lemon on the palette and a nice fruit burst surprise on the finish. The perfect “Saturday Afternoon Sipper” for those lazy, stress free afternoons.

Varietal Fun Facts: Often referred to as the industry’s forgotten grape, Chenin Blanc produces a refreshing white wine. It is grown around the world from France to South Africa, from Argentina to Australia, and of course here in California. Chenin Blanc, depending on the wine making style, can range from sweet to dry and is frequently used to produce sparkling wines.
